Character age- Game canon age is fairly vague as it is. Probably around the same age as the other ones from the third game. Mentally more like an adult.

Character history-
Top Man was one of eight Robot Masters that appeared to have gone rogue on some mining planets. In actuality, he was serving Wily in his latest attempt to take over the world. Top was also guarding one of eight energy crystals needed to power a large robot being created by Dr. Light and Dr. Wily, who was at the time claiming to be sane again while working on his plans secretly.

Eventually, Rock came to the planet that Top was at and fought his way to the Robot Master, defeating the Robot Master rather easily and taking the Energy Crystal back to Dr. Light. After that defeat, Wily rebuilt Top along with the others to help defend his fortress. When he faced Mega Man the second time, the results were no different than the first time they had fought.

After this, Top was rebuilt for another of Wily's plans involving using a time machine called the Time Skimmer to steal a future version of Mega Man that was reprogrammed into Quint. This attempt, and Top's battle against Mega Man had the same end result as the previous try.

The last attempt at taking over that Top was involved in was the incident in the Amazon involving a strange ancient alien computer known as Ra Moon. Ra Moon revived Top and a number of other Robot Masters. Wily used these Robot Masters and the threat to destroy the machinery of the world in this attempt. In the end, it failed like the other attempts. Mega Man defeated all the Robot Masters involved and saved the world again.

Afterward, Top was rebuilt again, but not used in further attempts to take over by Wily. Instead, he just waited idle with all the other old designs.

Character personality- Top is a fairly friendly individual, if a bit on the nervous side. He's the type of person that tries to get along with others, but ends up with things just not working out that way.

He is not particularly confident in himself, and it shows in how easily he's pushed around. He obeys orders and follows them to the best of his ability, even if it's something he really doesn't want to do. He's also an extremely easy target for bullying and pranking.

Top also enjoys skating, using the wheels built into his boots as a part of his weapons systems. He's actually more comfortable skating than he is with walking, but that's probably in part related to the fact that he'd have to remove part of his armor or disable the wheels somehow to make walking easy.

Digimon personality- Gaomon is a rather bouncy and enthusiastic individual. Outgoing and friendly, he's always wanted to go out and see the world, not satisfied by staying in one place. He's an adventurous sort of Digimon as it is. Gaomon is also extremely confident in himself and everything he does with an occasional stubborn streak.

Gaomon is caring, but he also has a tendency to lose patience and get frustrated at how easy to push around his tamer tends to be. He'd rather have a tamer more outgoing and willing to stand up for himself, but Gaomon is going to work as well as he can with what he was given. Though at times, he is known to get a bit violent out of frustration.

Character abilities- Top's signature ability is the Top Spin, where he spins himself at his opponents. This is made possible by the combination of a sophisticated auto balancing system and wheels built into his boots. Top also has to ability to throw tops at an opponent as a secondary weapon.

(In the game, he's also completely invulnerable while he's using Top Spin, but I can't think of a way to explain it. As well as it possible not being in the limits on abilities.)

Sample RP-
Top looks around in confusion. What happened? Last thing he remembered was going into his usual recharge. Now he's in some strange-looking jungle place? He sits down on the ground to think after a few moments, only to be tackled by something like a bipedal dog.

One that just starts talking happily. “I've actually got a tamer. Welcome to the Digital World. Who are you?”

Top just stares at Gaomon. “I'm DWN 21. My name is Top Man. And what do you mean, Digital World?”

“You're in the Digital World now.” Gaomon continues chattering happily. “You were brought here to help save the world. A lot of people are. I'm your partner now.”

Top frowns at that. “What are you talking about? I'm a Wilybot. That's not what I was built for. Could you please start making sense?”

Sample journal entry-
Umm...

This weird dog thing said this thing is used for communication here. Wherever here is. This doesn't seem like anywhere I've ever seen before. I don't even know how I got here. Was it some kind of prank? I was in recharge then I myself here.

Is there anyone I know out there? It's Top. Or can someone at least explain how I got here better than this thing did?

All right. Redid the sample and here it is. Hopefully I did a better job this time.

Sample RP-
Trees. Nature. The great outdoors.

This certainly wasn't what Top had expected to wake up to after he went into recharge at the usual place. At least, he had been expecting to still be indoors. It was certainly a startling experience, waking up to that. He wasn't exactly sure how he had gotten to this place either. Maybe some kind of stupid prank?

It didn't help that Top found himself dealing with an overly enthusiastic thing that looked like some kind of bipedal canine while he was trying to figure out what happened to him. He tried to quickly get to his feet so that he could at least be ready if something else happened. "What's going on? Where am I?"

Gaomon laughed and held up Top's D-Comm from the ground where he hadn't noticed it due to his shock at the new surroundings. “You're my tamer now, Toppy. Welcome to the Digital World. I'm Gaomon.”

Top frowned at that bit of information. That sounded strange. Nothing the Top had ever heard of before, at any rate. “How did I get here? Was it some kind of prank by one of the others? I'm not supposed to be here. Wily isn't going to be happy.”

Gaomon continued holding the D-Comm out, trying to get the worried Robot Master to take the thing already. “Nothing like that. Yggdrasil brought you here, and you aren't likely leaving any time soon. You should just get used to it. So take your D-Comm and let's go.”

Top finally reached out and took the device from the strange creature warily. “And why exactly was I brought here? I'll be in trouble for disappearing like that.”

Gaomon shrugged at Top's nervous fuss over something that wasn't very important anymore. Top was in the Digital World now, and that was all that mattered. “Doesn't matter. You were brought here to help save the world, and you don't have a choice on going back. It happens with a lot of people. Want me to show you how to use the D-Comm? It's really useful.”
